Missoula City-County Rapid Community Food Assessment 2022

CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

The Missoula Food Policy Advisory Board wants to know what Missoulians care about when it comes to food and agriculture and the future of Missoula’s food system (i.e. from growing food, to distributing it, to buying and consuming it, to discarding it, and all the steps in between), so they issued a rapid community food assessment survey for the Missoula community to share their concerns, hopes, and interests when it comes to food and agriculture. Survey responses will support the Board in serving the Missoula community and inform the Board’s recommendations to City and County leadership regarding the policies that help shape our food system.

The survey was open from Oct. 26 to Nov. 23. A presentation of survey responses will be shared with both the Missoula Board of County Commissioners and the City Council. The commissioners' meeting is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in the Sophie Moiese Room of the Missoula County Courthouse annex. You can also join virtually via Microsoft Teams. Find the agenda and link to join at http://missoula.co/bccmeetings Presentation materials will also be posted publicly through the Food Policy Advisory Board webpage.

A presentation from the 2021 Rapid Community Food Assessment survey can be found here.
