10260 Bear Run Creek

The property owner at 10260 Bear Run Creek has petitioned the Missoula County commissioners to annex their land into the Missoula Rural Fire District. You can find the petition at Book 1095 Page 1198. The request proposes to annex only property owned by the petitioners. The fire district has reviewed the request and agrees that the property should be included in the area that falls under their fire protection. If approved, the fire district will assess taxes to the petitioners.

Staff will present the petition to the commissioners at their public meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, where they will hear public comment and make a decision on the request.
