The property owners at 2780 Loraine Dr Missoula MT 59803 have petitioned the Missoula County commissioners to annex their land into the Missoula Rural Fire District. You can find the petition at Book 1099, Page 23. The request proposes to only annex the property owned by the petitioners. The fire district has reviewed the request and agrees that the property should be included in the area that falls under their fire protection. If approved, the fire district will assess taxes to the petitioners.

Staff will present the petition to the commissioners at their public meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, where they will hear public comment and make a decision on the request.
