4250 EDGEWOOD DRIVE- East Missoula Rural Fire District Annexation

The property owners at 4250 Edgewood Drive, Missoula MT 59802, have petitioned the Missoula County commissioners to annex their land into the East Missoula Rural Fire District. The request proposes to only annex the property owned by the petitioners. The fire district has reviewed the request and agrees that the property should be included in the area that falls under their fire protection. If approved, the fire district will assess taxes to the petitioners.

Staff will present the petition to the commissioners at their public meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, where they will hear public comment and make a decision on the request.
