Missoula Rural Fire District Annexation

The property owners at 697 Spanish Peaks Dr. Missoula MT 59803, 13250 Orion Way, Lolo, MT 59847, and 13465 Orion Way, Lolo, MT 59847 have petitioned the Missoula County commissioners to annex their land into the Missoula Rural Fire District. The request proposes to only annex the property owned by the petitioners. The fire district has reviewed the request and agrees that the property should be included in the area that falls under their fire protection. If approved, the fire district will assess taxes to the petitioners.

Staff will present the petition to the commissioners at their public meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, where they will hear public comment and make a decision on the request.
