BIG SKY PARK TAKES THE TITLE IN A CINDERELLA STORY!

The 2025 Missoula County Parks Bracket Challenge has come to an end, and Missoula County, you brought the heat! Big Sky Park pulled off a major upset, taking down the legendary Marshall Mountain with 68% of the vote to win the Parks March Madness Bracket Challenge! With over 200 participants, this tournament was one for the history books.

Thank you to everyone who voted and showed love for our incredible parks. With 91 parks and 40+ miles of shared-use paths, Missoula County's parks bring our community together—whether you're hiking, biking, birding, playing ball or just soaking in the views. 

Missoula County Parks & Trails is committed to keeping the county a slam dunk for outdoor recreation. Their mission? To protect diverse habitats and open spaces while giving everyone a chance to enjoy the great outdoors.

We're bringing the madness to the mountains with a head-to-head bracket of local parks, from riverside gems to hidden hiking spots. Will Marshall hold its ground?
