The Missoula County Department of Planning, Development and Sustainability completed maintenance updates to the Missoula County Zoning Regulations that were adopted in July 2022. These routine maintenance updates do not amend policy but provide clarity to sections of the regulations that may have led to confusion when administering the regulations or led to issues that were not intended as part of the original intent of the regulations. Additionally, amendments fixed any typographical errors and copy edits found throughout the zoning regulations that may have been missed when the regulations were adopted. Staff plans to complete routine maintenance to the zoning code each year.
The Missoula City-County Consolidated Planning Board approved this item on July 11.
The initial Missoula County commissioners’ public meeting took place on Aug. 3, and the final meeting took place on Sept. 14, where the commissioners approved the item.
