Whether it’s hotter, drier summers, longer wildfire seasons or milder winters, we’re already experiencing the impacts of climate change in Missoula County, and it’s time to prepare. In the spring of 2020, Missoula County, the City of Missoula and Climate Smart Missoula jointly adopted Climate Ready Missoula, a climate adaptation plan that identified goals and strategies to reduce Missoula’s vulnerability to climate change.
